S/Sgt Albert L. Ham attended high school for four years and was an usher before he enlisted in Boston, Massachusetts on 3 March 1941.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments to his back.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.

He is remembered at the South Easton Cemetery in Easton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.
