Pfc Philip W. Weis graduated from Technical High school and was employed at the De Zurik Shower company in Sartell before he enlisted on 4 March 1943. He was sent overseas in September 1944.Pfc Weis was killed only six miles from the former home of his grandfather, whoimemigrated to Minnesota in 1871.
