Pvt Weldon B. Weaver attended high school for two years and was employed at the Robert L. McKee Construction Company before he enlisted in Los Angeles, California on 16 November 1943.

Pvt Weaver was fatally wounded by artillery shell fragments in his back on 8 November 1944 and died of the wounds on 9 November 1944 in the vicinity of Dieuze, France.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
