Pvt Andrew N. Busa attended high school for four years and was a chipper before he enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 9 March 1942.

He was killed by small arms fire in his trachea.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand-Failly, France.
