Pvt Leonard A. Larson attended high school for four years and worked on a farm before he enlisted at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on 17 February 1944.He was killed by small arms fire in his chest and back.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
