Sgt Paul A. Sturgis was employed at Continental Diamond Fibre Company before he enlisted in Camden, New Jersey on 17 January 1944. He was sent overseas in September 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments to his buttock and hip.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand-Failly, France.
