S/Sgt Allan R. Robertson graduated from Lewiston High School and attended college.

He volunteered for the Army of the United States in Portland, Maine on 21 October 1942. He was selected for the Army Specialized Training Program (A.S.T.P.) and studied at Providence College. He was sent overseas in September 1944.

He is also remembered at the Grand Army of the republic Cemetery in Lewiston, Androscoggin County, Maine.
