Pvt Dale G. Reed attended high school for three years was a truck driver and worked on a farm before he enlisted in Indianapolis, Indiana on 10 November 1943.He was killed by artillery shell fragments to his back.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
