Pvt Albert W. Baker attended high school for one year and was employed at the Philadelphia Wood Heel Factory before he enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 10 May 1944.He died in a field hospital from wounds to his stomach.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
