Pfc Lorenzo Molinelli attended high school for one year and was a meat cutter before he enlisted at Camp Upton, New York on 13 January 1942.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his stomach.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand-Failly, France.
