Pvt Seymour Keidan graduated from Lafayette College in 1941 before he enlisted at Fort Jay, New York on 16 June 1942.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the stomach and body.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand-Failly, France.
