S/Sgt Ralph R. Hall attended high school for four years and was employed at the Burlington Mills Company in Greensboro before he enlisted at Camp Croft, South Carolina on 17 February 1943.
He was killed by small arms fore in his chest.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
