Pvt Paul P. Sheets attended high school for four years and was employed at the Estey Piano Company before he enlisted at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 22 April 1944. He was sent overseas in October 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his neck.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Hochfelden, France.
