Pvt Stanley F. Urbanowicz attended Dickinson High School. He was a cook before he enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 20 December 1943.He was killed by artillery shell fragments. He was killed less than five weeks after his arrival in Europe.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
