Pfc Earl L. Stull enlisted in Erie, Pennsylvania on 10 February 1944, and received co-pilot training at Camp Planche, New Orleans, Louisiana. From there he was stationed at Camp Edwards, Massachusetts for a short while before he was shipped overseas in November 1944.
