Pfc Harold L. Comstock attended high school for one year and was a farmer.He joined the Regular Army at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 20 September 1940.
Pfc Comstock was killed by a gunshot to the head.
He was initially buried in a temporary grave at Henri-Chapelle on 20 November 1944. After being disinterred and after the cemetery was given a permanent status, he was given his final resting place on 6 July 1948.
