Pvt Francis B. Mumblo enlisted in Albany, New York on 9 December 1943 and was sent to Camp Blanding, Fla. He was overseas four months with the infantry. He was employed at the Seuten plant of the Union Bag and Papter Co., Hudson Falls. He had two brothers in the Army, Charles E. Mumblo, serving in France and Leonard F. Borden, serving in India.
