More information

Pfc Bill Gorski enlisted on 21 November 1942 at Utica, New York. He worked in a textile factory before he enlisted.
He was temporarily interred in the American Military Cemetery Ardennes, Belgium because his family requested he could be buried in Poland. Since negotiations with the Polish government were of no result and the program for the return of WW 2 dead expired on 31 December 1951, it was decided that the internment at Ardennes would be permanent.
