Pfc Harold Shaw worked on a farm before he enlisted in Cincinnati, Ohio on 14 April 1941. He was sent overseas in March 1944.He died by an injury recieved on 29 November 1944 of small arms fire to his intestines.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Hochfelden, France.
