Pfc Joseph Algaratto was an attendant in an amusement park before he enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 5 May 1943.He was reported wounded in action by artillery shell fragments on 17 October near Manonville, about 8 miles east of Lunéville. He died two days later.
