Pvt Harry E. Gilletly graduated from East Technical High School and was a machine operator for White Motor Company.He enlisted in Cleveland, Ohio on 23 April 1942.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments to the chest and face.
Pvt Gilletly was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Hochfelden, France.
