Perley A. Caldwell enlisted at Huntington, West Virginia on 13 June 1942. He was an architect in civilian life.According to his buddy Leo Skeens, Pfc Caldwell had stepped on a mine.
On the picture, he is posing with an aunt. The last picture shows his temporary marker at Margraten.
