Pvt Bonnie A. Summerell was employed at the National Porcelain Products before he enlisted in Columbus, Ohio on 2 December 1943. He was sent overseas in August 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his stomach while he was evacuating wounded men from the front.
