Pfc Edward Popielarz graduated from Wilbur H. Lynch Senior High School in 1941 and was employed by Marcus Brier at Adirondack Sports Goods Company.He enlisted in Albany, New York on 2 November 1942.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments to the chest.
