Pvt Charles P. Kuhn attended McKinley High School for four years and worked for the Sun Life Insurance Company before he enlisted at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland on 31 March 1944. He was sent overseas in September 1944.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments.
