Pfc Vince P. Johnson enlisted in Santa Fe, New Mexico on 14 September 1942.He was of Spanish-American origin. He attended Elementary School in Santa Fe for 8 years and was an auto Machinist before his enlistment.
Pfc Johnson trained at Fort Bliss in Texas, Fort Smith in Arkansas and Fort Meade in Maryland. He saw service in Belgium, France, Germany and Holland.
