Sgt Joseph K. Dalke gradudated from North Liberty High School.He enlisted at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 5 February 1942. He was sent overseas in June 1944.
At the time of his death his brother Edward was serving in France and his brother Benedict was stationed at Camp Bellevoire, Virginia.
