Pvt Dominick W. Marrone attended high school for two years. According to his Draft Card he worked for the Marrone Petroleum Co. before he enlisted.Since he stated on his enlistment record that he was a manager by profession, this must have been his own firm.
He enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 11 November 1943. He trained at Camp Croft, South Carolina, Fort Meade, Maryland and Camp Kilmer, New Jersey.
