Pfc Hilton Cox enlisted in the US Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina on 4 February 1943.He was wounded in France before August 1944 and died in Belgium from wounds received in Germany on 11 October 1944. A letter from his commanding officer states that a chaplain officiated at the burial of Hilton Cox.
