Pfc Robert P. Goetz graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1938.He enlisted in Utica, New York on 20 July 1944.
Robert loved to play pinball at the corner drugstore in his hometown of Sarnac Lake. When his descendants visit his grave, they leave spare change at his gravesite, in his memory.
He left behind a wife and two year old child.
