T/4 Leo R. Reins attended high school for three years and was employed at the Chehalis Brick and Tile before he enlisted in Tacoma, Washington on 5 June 1942.He was killed by artillery shell fragments.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
