1st Lt William E. Bosley was a former Friends University student and was employed by the Logopedics Institute prior to entering the service. He was sent overseas in May 1944.He died on 9 November 1944 as a result of wounds received the day before.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
