Pvt Frank W. Scotton attended high school for two years and was a fireman at the town of Needham before he enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 25 April 1944.He was killed by small arms fire in his chest and shoulder.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand-Failly, France.
He is also remembered at the Needham Cemetery in Needham, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.
