1st Lt Mckeen E. Brimhall attended college for four years and was an industry clerk before he enlisted at Fort Douglas, Utah on 4 June 1942. He was sent overseas in May 1944.

He died of wounds sustained in action on 18 September 1944.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
