Pvt John C. Ezekiel worked on a farm before he joined the Regular Army at Fort Jackson, South Carolina on 8 October 1940.He was hit by machine gun fire in his chest on 4 December 1944 and died a day later.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
