Paul D. Drippan was born in Canada and had the Russian nationality. He and his family arrived in Detroit, Michigan on 24 March 1922 as Paul Dripan.He enlisted in Chicago, Illinois on 24 March 1942. He had served in the North African theatre and Italy.
He was reported prisoner of war by the Germans on 20 September 1943 and died in Stalag 344.
