More information

Lt John F. Yarbrough joined the National Guard in Jackson, Mississippi on 25 November 1940. He received his training at Camp Blanding, Florida, and graduated from officers' training school at Fort Benning, Georgia in 1943.

His remains were found northwest of Groesbeek in July 1945 and evacuated to Margraten for burial.
