Pfc John Niemczura Jr. graduated from Campbell Memorial High School in June 1942, and worked for a while at the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co.He enlisted in Akron, Ohio on 18 August 1943 and trained at Camp Gruber, Oklahoma. He was sent overseas in April 1944.
