S/Sgt Harold F. Schlueter graduated from Lanier Miller High School in 1937 where he played sports and sang in the chorus. He was employed by the Citizens and Southern National Bank.He volunteered for the Army of the United States at Fort Benning, Georgia on 16 March 1942.
