Pfc Grover Vandenbosch was a driver for the Ontario Ice & Coal Company.He joined the Regular Army in Rochester, New York on 9 December 1942.
He was reported wounded in action on 9 June 1944 and again in October in France. Each time he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal.
