Pfc Leonard V. Brigido attended Old Forge High School and was employed in a service station in Old Forge.He enlisted in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on 3 May 1943.
His brother, Pfc Americo Brigido, also served in Europe and was reported wounded in action on 1 August 1944.
