1st Lt Jacob I. Moskowitz graduated from Vineland High School in 1936 and Glassboro College in 1941. He was a secondary school teacher.

He enlisted at Fort Dix, New Jersey on 26 February 1942. He was sent overseas on 9 June 1944.

The exact date when he was reported wounded in action and the location where he died is not known.
