1st Lt Lucian A. Barnhill enlisted at Camp Shelby, Mississippi on 15 February 1943.

He attended 4 years of College at the Mississippi State University and was a member of the Gamma Theta. He was a salesman before he enlisted.

He died of injuries sustained in action by a sniper.
