Pvt T.B. Brown joined the Regular Army in Dallas on 18 March 1941.

He worked on a farm before he enlisted.

On 8 and 9 February the 10th Infantry Regiment made an attack on the Siegfried Line, crossing the Sauer River near Weilerbach under fire of enemy machine-guns and artillery. A lot of the rubber and wooden boats were destroyed during the river crossing.
