Pfc Harold G. Goodman enlisted in New York City, New York, on 11 February 1943.

He attended high school for one year and worked in laundering before he enlisted.

Private Goodman's remains were recovered, identified and interred at the Ardennes American Cemetery and Memorial. His name is permanently inscribed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial at St. Avold (Moselle), France.
