Pvt Wallace E. Tyler attended Brattleboro High School for three years and was employed at the Crosby Milling Company before he enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 22 March 1944. He was sent overseas in August 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
