Pfc Cordes M. Rehrig graduated from Mauch Chunk High School with the class of 1943 and was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Company before he enlisted in Altoona, Pennsylvania on 10 June 1942.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments.
