S/Sgt Roger A. Old Sr. was employed at the Norfolk Navy Yard before he enlisted in Richmond, Virginia on 9 February 1943.He was killed by small arms fire in his chest.
He is also remembered at the Riverside Memorial Park in Norfolk, Norfolk City, Virginia.
