Pfc Paul E. Renaker was a route man before he enlisted in Tulsa, Oklahoma on 17 August 1942.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his buttock and hip and loin.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Hochfelden, France.
