Pfc John Domack was a miner before he enlisted in Altoona, Pennsylvania on 20 June 1942. He was sent overseas on 23 March 1944.

He was killed by small arms fire to his chest and back.

His brother-in-law, Pvt Joseph Petulla, is buried at the Luxembourg American Cemetery.
